Artist’s Interpretation:Movement no.7 is the title of the art work Florian Claar created for Taipei Daan District. His work is a fascinating combination of logic, geometry and pure imagination. Harmonic scales from different cultures used in this work are a reverence to the history and multicultural aspect of Daan District. This is a dynamic landmark in urban context when seen from a distance. The pavilion-like sculpture also attracts people to interact with it closely. Walking around the work, people will be able to to see the always moving and changing sky and surroundings from different perspectives. The work is like a steady rock in ariver of fast flowing time, light and movement.
