The Songshan District is a prime location where a river meanders, and surrounded by this natural landscape, a bountiful culture has emerged. This artwork is inspired by the special poetic sense of this place, transformed into an experience of encounters among the artwork, the geographical surroundings, and people. Tens of thousands of vertical pipes of various lengths create an organic, hollowed-out shape, like waves in a bay, flowing in and back out. The structure flows and extends freely within the high-rise space and creates a visual experience of multiple layers and angles, suggesting the abundant, bright historical origins of Songshan. The magnificent, large light sculpture becomes a Dome of Light like a hundred Flourishing Flowers. Its organic force full of vitality dances, producing a rich sensory experience, paying tribute to the cultures of songshan, both ancient and modern, and expressing the hope we hold for the future.
