The public art setting in Yuan-shan Branch,Bank of Taiwan focuses on combining the language of art in the new era with contemporary entrepreneurship and the trend for financial institutions to be more user-friendly. The piece “sheng” is inspired by the word “sheng”(conducive) from the Chinese saying: friendliness is conducive to business success, Lucky bamboo(Pachira Macrocarpa) grown upside down symbolizes the arrival(similar pronunciation of ”upside down” in Mandarin)of fortune and sustaining growth. The lush leaves of the bamboo form a hemisphere. The clear crystal green extends the depth of space and coordinates the field energy, whereby enhances the magnetic filed effect.
